Tangier Sateen Sheet Set
A 400-thread-count cotton sateen with a silky, lustrous face, dyed in colors most sheet brands are too timid to try: a saturated magenta, a mossy chartreuse and a deep peacock. The weave has a cool, slippery drape and takes dye richly, so the bed becomes the loudest and most pleasurable thing in the room. Clash it with a patterned quilt and a lacquered nightstand and let it be a bit much.
