Kumo Low Platform Bed
A floor-hugging platform bed in solid white oak with a wide, flat surround that extends 8 inches past the mattress on each side, where a cup of tea or a stack of books can sit. The headboard is a single plain slab, no carving, no upholstery, finished in a matte water-based lacquer in natural oak or a smoky black stain that shows the grain. It makes a room feel lower, calmer and more deliberate.
