Alfama Cable Scarf

A long scarf in undyed ecru merino, knitted with a column of fisherman cables and finished by hand at the family mill outside Lisbon. It is dense and springy, wraps twice with length to spare and has the soft, slightly lanolin handle of good wool. Wear it with a navy peacoat or a grey overcoat for the quiet end of winter dressing.
